I have pillars.  They are almost complete to the point of the gargoyles below them.  And I'm definitely well over halfway done!

Russian Barrette

Andreas bought me this beautiful barrette on etsy.  It came all the way from Russia, and it's rapidly become one of my favorites.

Impressions of Impressionism

 I went with a friend. Iulia, to the Albertina museum in Vienna in January.  There was an exhibit from Impressionists to Abstractism.  We viewed it.  Here  are some of my favorite paintings from the exhibit.  It was a wonderful two hour wander.

To The Middle

I am officially on the middle square now.  Yay!

Ilha Beach Sunset

These photos were taken from Lookal Asador.  It's on the beach and gives a great view.

Chez Wou

We took the family of one of Andreas' subordinates out for dinner at Chez Wou.  The location was chosen because it's kid friendly. The food is okay, especially things like eggrolls.  I had lemon chicken.  It was very, very thin and truly less than spectacular.  The kids really enjoyed theirs, though.

Spanish Riding School

Until they announced it, I didn't realize I couldn't take photos in the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.  I was there for morning exercise.  This was the only photo I took.  It was interesting watching the horses learn and practice, and the riders, too.  I passed a memorable, if cold, hour and a half watching them in January.
