Printed Pieces!

Yay, I now have some Trish Burr I don't have to trace out!  She's making these available in her shop, and, for me, they're so much easier.

Light Pansy Color

This is the beginning of a bouquet of pansies.  Unfortunately, they're way too light to make out yet.

Four Points

This is the first Kathy Rees kit where I have pulled out my own thread for the first part.  The directions called for using the blue parts only of an overdyed cotton, but the blue parts were tiny.  So I substituted my own blue.  I hope the rest of it doesn't keep on the same way.

Last Two

These are the last two of my Texas series needlepoint kits.  Now I need to free up some stretcher bars and make them.

Long Stitch From India

I found a needlework store by accident while on a walking tour of Colaba.  Surprisingly, my guide let me in.  He was both interested and confused, as he didn't know people actually did these things for leisure.  These are all Indian designs and were about half the price of the same kind of kit in the US.

Decision Time

I've started back to work on this, as I'm back from India.  I'm running out of the pearl cotton used for the edging.  This lead me to think.  The pearl cotton is a Polish brand and it'll be a while until I get back there.  The color's unusual enough that it'd be hard to find.  So... I am going to stop after the next three sections.  It'll leave a nice, squarish piece.  Now to get those three sections done.

Another Border

I now have a second border around my star.  Getting this a bit progressed.
