Lots of petals, all pink.  Maybe soon there will be other colors.  In the meantime, this flower grows.

It's a Dosa

A dosa is a lentil flour crepe.  It's crispy and thin and flavorless.  It's also unstuffed.  You're supposed to rip it apart and dip it in spicy stuff.  Unfortunately, I never got used to spicy stuff for breakfast.  I was hoping the dosa itself would have more taste.

Back Of The Gateway

The back of the Gateway of India is a view of the bay.  This is where boats to Elefanta Island leave from.  You can also see a lot of moored larger ships waiting for cargo or to load or unload oil.

Starting The Background

All of the regular stitching except the hat is done now..  Time to do that and get through the background so I can get the overlay done and finish everything off.

Gateway And Taj

Some photos of the gateway and of the Taj Palace.  They were all taken from the cobblestones in front of the gateway.  Unfortunately you can't go through the gateway.

About Halfway

The heart is about halfway done, but you can't tell yet.

Shwarma In India

So, um, yeah.  Shwarma in a fancy hotel in Mumbai is not as good as I had hope it would be after missing shwarma for so long.  It was okay, but not spectacular.
