Easy Bracelet

I am finally getting through my For the Makers boxes.  This was a very easy wood beaded bracelet.

Inside Decan Monastery Chapel

Since the last time we were at Decan, several years ago, it's undergone some renovation.  First up: lights on a controller!  The monks can now control the lights from their smartphones.  Second, a lot of cleaning and restoration of the frescos.  Both of these have made a huge difference in how you can see things.  Everything's so much brighter and so much less sooty.  All these frescos are original from the fourteenth century.

Time To Mark Glasses

I now have glass pens to play with.  Time to get started with the decorations.

First Attempt

I started in on this sampler from Linen and Thread on New Year's Eve.  I figured out, however, that the fabric I had was going to be just a little bit short, so I have since started this over.  The colors will be just about the same.

Retiring For A Bit

After I have been complaining about the ears for so long, I decided to put this away for a bit.  I am hoping that a break will mean I will be happier to get these last two big gargoyles done when I pick it up again.
