Thurrn Und Taxis
The day was warm, especially for April in Germany, and we decided to do dinner outside at a fairly fancy restaurant. Thurrn and Taxis is straight German fare, served well. Their outdoor tables are in a secluded courtyard, so you don't have a bunch of people traipsing by. The food was good but, to my taste, uninspired. Why would you put crab in ginger carrot soup? Andreas had a very good and tender piece of pork. I had straight out wiener schnitzel.

CADU -Cafe An Der Uni
We drove to Munich and went to Fruhlingfest. We also had a lot of fun driving a BMW 300 series. It was fast! Anyway, we had breakfast before we left with the friends we were meeting. We went to CADU at the university. It was a bright sunny day and we sat outside. The food was delicious and huge. There was, of course, too much to eat. That didn't stop us from trying. This place is evidently known for its breakfast.

Outside Munich
On a fine Saturday afternoon we were out picking a friend up at the Munich airport and decided to do lunch close by. We found a very good Italian restaurant with lovely presentation and an outside area to sit in. All the food was delicious and fresh. After lunch, we walked about a block and got ice cream.

WonWon Korean
Surprise! Korean food in Frankfurt. The restaurant is run by Koreans and they even use crocheted doilies as coasters. The food was a bit spicy, but good. The owner told me to mix my bulgogi more, which was cute. She was concerned that I ate it properly. As you can see, the portions were very generous too.
