Germany does festival food differently, of course. On May Day, we went to a festival at a castle not far from Frankfurt. It was a beautiful day, and we had lunch there. Andreas had cheesy spaetzle and I had flammekuchen. Both were delicious. They even had a whiskey stall selling Glengoyne.
We went visiting in Strasbourg (about a two hour drive from Frankfurt) and had a good time catching up with old friends. While there, we found a wonderful Thai restaurant and had lunch. There was a reason the restaurant was packed - the food was both delicious and authentic.
This is a small design from The Sweetheart Tree. It's coming along well, as I worked on it on the flights between Pristina and London on my way to the hospital. It's now in my rotation and should be done soon. Going to the nurse who flew with me there.
We finally went to Aroydee to eat. It was as good as usual. I love their soup and Andreas adores their fried chicken and satay. But his biggest love is the Thai tea.
