Everyday dress of Albanians in the early 20th century. Lots of black, white, and red. Quilting work and embroidery still on these.

Fiberlicious December

I love December's colors. The flosses will go into Tree of Happiness, and I will have to find something to make for the fabric.

Kosovo Dress

These photos and the ones of Kosovo dress to follow were taken at the City Museum of Mitrovica, in northern Kosovo. The museum has a collection of folk costume, and I got to visit it privately. This is a woman's wedding dress. Most of the photos were taken by me. If you notice, there are several pieces. A head dress, a shawl, a pectoral necklace, a blouse, a skirt, an apron, and a sash. This particular one is in the Albanian style.

Cozyblue December

One thing I like about cozyblue is it comes so promptly! This one will get done soon.

Making Stems
