Bringing On The Bells

Most of the middle bell done on the second corner. Maybe this will get more spinner love.

Kitchen Stitchy Box Done

As part of Stitch Maynia, I am definitely doing  the kitchen appliances chart. I see a future for the tart tin, too.

Halloumi Fries!

We ate one night in London at a random upscale burger place. It was good, and I had elderberry soda! The big hit of the night was halloumi fries, though. Why didn't I think of them earlier?

Such A Wide Piece

Time to take the plunge and hope I count right as I forge over the top. The very top line is almost halfway across. I have a lot to do.

Gardening, Gardening

The end is in sight on this. Most of the flowers are stitched, but there are a lot of leaves to go. And more imagination to use.

Thank You Michelle

Back during the US government furlough, Michelle Easters of Jodyri Designs made an offer to defer billing for those of us with fabric and/or floss subscriptions who were affected. I wrote her, told her we were affected, but didn't need the subscription deferment. I was still getting paid, but my husband was not. It also helped that we didn't have much in the way of household bills because of our location overseas. I knew she had a small business and needed to keep afloat herself, too.
She sent me this beautiful hand dyed thread as a surprise. It took me a little bit to figure out why I received it. It's so beautiful! I am going to make many ornaments out of this as soon as I can. Thank you so much, Michelle! Your kindness is overwhelming. As I have some sleep deprived nights coming up due to rescuing a puppy, I'll be using them sooner rather than later.

Andreas' GB Nanny State Rant

Andreas was disappointed with soda in the UK. The government imposed a maximum sugar content, and even the sugared sodas have artificial sweeteners now. He is NOT amused.
