Strpce Food

On our way to Brezovica, we stopped and talked to the police chief and the chief of economics at Strpce, the nearest town to the resort. Before we went up the mountain, we stopped at Era for lunch on the recommendation of  the locals. It was good, even though I had to eat pork because Bashkim.

Cornered

The second corner has started to be filled in now. Finally I will be able to do something besides border soon.

Pompeii Cameo

When we went to Pompeii, I let a Russian guy convince me to overpay for this little pendant. I'll wear it and it wasn't too very expensive.

Small Spaces

Grayson likes cover. He has a habit of going under desks and tables and chairs. This is him under my chair one evening.

Brezovica

There is a ski "resort" in Kosovo. It's at Brezovica, and it can be a very eastern European experience. The "resort" was built during Tito's time and not been updated since. To get there, there's a one lane road up the side of the mountain, and then, to get from where you park to the slopes, you take a snowmobile ride such as the one in the video. It was exhilarating. And I love my job, as I got paid to do this.

First Visit To Sushico

Sushico is a Turkish chain of Asian food. It's gooooood. Pristina has not had a real Asian restaurant, and this was verily needed. So we went during its first week and have been back a handful of times since. So good to have the restaurant here. We'll keep going back.
