Down To Bunsen

Time to make Bunsen's head.

Dessert And Parting Gift

At our last stop, on the edge of the Jewish quarter, we had crepes and coffee. We also received paprika paste so we could make our own gulash. I was happy about that, because I bought about six more tubes to take home...

Modern Gulash

This place was a rather modern bistro, but the host told us this was the place with the most authentic gulash in town. So we had some.

Langos

The classic Hungarian flatbread dish is called langos. The dough is fried and then cold cheese and sour cream (and whatever other toppings) are piled onto it, then folded so they melt-ish. Tasted pretty good, but was HUGE. We got this from a street vendor behind the cathedral.

More Blue

Along with some gray, I did quite a bit more blue on the flag.

Can You See It?

There is nearly half a snowflake stitched on this oatmeal colored fabric, I swear it.

Gourmet Shopping Mall

This alley in Budapest was pretty obviously a high class tourist trap. But it had good food. Which is why the tour led here. We tried various condiments, sausages, and cheeses. Along with the local rakia. They were all excellent and artisanal. And expensive.
