Heim's Barbecue, Fort Worth

This place is a millenial hang out in the Magnolia area of Fort Worth. It was packed. And it wasn't nearly as good as Railhead or Coopers. Major disappointment, because we'd been told by several people that it was excellent. It was also overpriced. Not a place we'd go back to.

More Underground Naples

Lots of WWII stuff underground, and a bit of how it connected up with the rest of the buildings, including coming up through the remains of an amphitheater. That was a home previously.

Byzantine - Stitch Maynia #13

A little freebie from Caron Collection. I've added several pieces of needlepoint to this month.

Bee Well - Stitch Maynia #17

This is well on the way to being done, so it will eventually spend a short time in the rotation pile.

Lucille's Lunch

One of our lunches in Fort Worth was at Lucille's. It doesn't hurt that it's next door to the needlepoint shop. So good flatbread and sandwiches before shopping.

Growing Underground

There is an experiment with the idea of turning  the aqueduct into a greenhouse. These are some of the plants they're growing. The pool below is one of the cisterns.

Sideways Progress

The third tree is done, and so is the second fence. On to the fourth tree of eight. And yes, I didn't catch that it was sideways until after I uploaded.
