Baked Gift

Our landlady in Meteora gave us these beautiful little tarts to celebrate her father's saint's day. They tasted great, too.

The cross and radio tower are visible from everywhere in Skopje. This is from the Hunter's Lodge parking lot.

 

Hunter's Lodge, Skopje

We went to Hunter's Lodge with the pod on a warm late winter day. The food was good as always, but as usual, the stew was best. So were the morel mushrooms. We had a very good time.

 

Thessaloniki Ethnological Museum

 

The museum is small, but it's got a good story and is pretty packed with textiles. It's definitely worth a visit.

A Finished Sampler

This sampler is now done, yay! I will try to get it framed in Poland. In the meantime, on to other projects.
 

Overpriced Frou Frou Food

Meteora Panorama is a perfectly good restaurant; it's just not worth the prices it charges. Even the views don't justify the price. So we were a bit disappointed.

 

Peacock Box Opened

All the bits that were in the peacock box. Time for me to get to work.
