Moonrise Snail by Kathryn Landis: Make Stuff May #26

This was from the March Black Needle Society subscription box - the pattern and the fabric. The threads are from stash. Mainly getting an outline of the snail at the moment.

 

Almost Closed

The garden is almost completely enclosed now. I am nearing the end of the cross stitches.

 

Loupino

This was our big meal out in Thessaloniki. Loupino is an expensive restaurant for Greece, but the food is good and presentation is awesome. The steak was rare and prepared at the table. 

The restaurant is rather hipsterish in its clientele, and they sit you out on the sidewalk opposite the restaurant - even with a reservation. I felt I was having to hug the wall the  whole time. But the food was worth it.

 

Outdoor Views

The views from the fortress are beautiful. And long. Probably why it was built there. Also, some bas relief found in other places and brought there.

 

Bell and Door

A random church bell and a pretty door somewhere near downtown Athens.
