First Stop Food Tour

This little metal bench place with a kitchen in the middle of the market served lamb burgers and other dishes for peoples' lunches. The food was pretty good.

 

Almost Backed

This third curve at the bottom is the last of the back. After this, there are only four more segments to go.

 

Time to Abandon

I ordered new thread in the "same" color from House of Embroidery. As you can see from the small patch on the lower right, it's not quite the same color. So this will be abandoned for now and restarted with enough thread from the start.

 

Wool Cross Stitch

This panda is going to be quite wooly, as the kit has used wool instead of cotton for its thread. The piece has wriggled into the rotation on a small basis.

 

Book

Leonora brought me a notebook when she last returned. She knows I use them a lot. This one will get its turn to be used again soon. Thank you, Leonora!

 

Marble or Wood?

It certainly looks like it's a wood top, but it's marble. Either way, it's one big heavy slab.

 

Going to the Market

Of course we did food tours in Athens. The first stop on the first tour was the big market. Lots of spice on the outside, lots of meat and fish inside.
