Walking away on the long paved area from Castle Melfi. It's not over a moat, just a way to get the passage controlled. Melfi was definitely worth the stop.

Bougatsa
Of all the food tours, the Sunday one was by far the best. Our first stop was at a bougatsa store. Bougatsa is a puff pastry dough filled with something either sweet or savory. We had both - one with eurocreme and the other with a beef/lamb mixture. Both were excellent, especially since they were fresh and still warm.

Little Diamond Done
I've stitched this pattern before with scraps, and I will probably do it again. Another little thing to be made into an ornament.

Inner Diamond
I can tell I'm making real progress because I'm now on the inner diamond. That's the true center of the design.
Little Bits of Street Art
Our final food tour in Athens was our best. It was the Sunday lunch one, and done by the franchise owner. She is also a chef at a ritzy Athens restaurant and is immersed in food culture. We started off with a walk around the area around Monastiraki Square. There are a bunch of hipster stores and such. Many of them have funky signs and grafitti.
