On to Paestum

Paestum is south of the Amalfi coast and worth a visit or three. This Roman city was rediscovered at the beginning of the 19th century in farmers' fields. Most of the city is still under dirt, but a lot is visible.

Another Little Snowflake

The colors in person aren't nearly as dreary as in the photo. Time to finish it into an ornament, though.

Biscornu Start

This is Dawn, a biscornu kit from Riolis. I got it as part of a sale due to the war of Russian agression. A Lithuanian company was selling off all their Russian stock and giving the proceeds to Ukraine. I bought a few kits. So far, this is a -lot- of half stitches.

Starting the Stems

Nearing the end as I am on the stems now. It's only stems to go, along with a couple more tiny buds.

More Ruins of Rivaulx

Rievaulx was one of the monasteries trashed in the reign of Henry the 8th. It's in Yorkshire and was rediscovered by the local baron in the 1800's. Most of the place was dismantled, yet the whole outline is there.

Naples Gate

One of the gates of Naples, at night and day. The neighborhood does not feel safe at night.
