One Long Belly

I'm getting little bits of the other upper frogs I missed as I fill in this frog. This time I got a bit of the green and yellow one's leg. And I am making progress on the rest.

Down to the Home Stretch

About to get to the neck of the lightbulb shape. Wish I had a less drab piece of material available when I started this.

More Hotel and Park

We were truly lucky in  that the Sheraton Grand was right next to one of the largest parks in Warsaw. The puppies loved exploring the park, and Grayson discovered fountains. These are more photos of the park and the puppies hanging out in the hotel suite.

Around the Amphitheater

The outer ring of the amphitheater in Pozzuoli is open to view through a wrought iron fence. You can tell it's not been well take care of - money issues. But they are trying. There are so many sites like this across Italy, Greece, and the Balkans that don't get any real love because no one knows about them.

Athens in the Evening

This photo tour was cut short by Andreas' phone getting stolen. But these ones were either from his larger camera or were uploaded to the cloud before it was pickpocketed on the metro.  They're pretty, but it was odd having him come home - early - with his tour guide in tow. Never did recover the phone, but it was a brick to the pickpockets, at least. And the tour guide was so apologetic.
These photos were so pretty, too. The window is at a house. The museum under this is the new Acropolis museum. You can eat out on that pier in front. Andreas had his phone out to take photos in the metro, since most of the stations have archaeology in them. And when he put it away - the pickpockets saw where and took advantage. At that point, thieves hadn't had any real business for two years and were extra pushy. They did report it to the police, who saw the pickpockets escaping. The Athens police shrugged.
