Loom Weights

These loom weights were found at Whitby Abbey, and were used in  the weaving house.

 

Nineteenth Century Novi Sad

Inside Novi Sad fortress is a municipal museum.  We were the only people there, so our group got a tour from the museum director, even though we helped perpetrate the "war of NATO aggression."  The museum has a -lot- of furniture rescued from homes in WWI and currently on display.  Most of it is beautiful.

The very bottom is started! The G on the left is the first letter of the bottom motif.

Turn another corner and there's a tomb entrance just standing there in the museum. And it's real.
