Since we have loads of cocoa and Leonora wanted to practice roll cakes, she made these for us to take in to work. They were appreciated by everyone.

Royal Stables in Dresden
That giant mural was actually plastered on the side of the royal stables. We turned the corner and went in.

A Truly Giant Mosaic
This is one long procession all done in tile. It was completed in the 1900's before WWI and depicts all the rulers of the area around Dresden. For fans of 1632, it's got the Wettins mentioned in the series here. They were real people at the time. All of this is tile. It's amazing. And it's about 300 meters long, all on one side of a palace.

Bits of Bright Gold
Every once in a while now I get to use the kreinik braid to make little sparkly wheat ears on the edges. It means the end of the skirt is near. I believe I have between 70 and 80 more rows to go on this.
