Trees by Symphony Hall

This is the side of Dresden's symphony hall. The inside supposedly has some of the best acoustics in the world. It's also where a film with Meryl Streep? playing a conductor was filmed. I liked the trees showing off their colors. They also obscure a Soviet era mural that's all about communism, of course.

 

Actual Work Starts

Two months into the course, and we finally started stitching! Starting with the stems and branches.

Up to the Border

I only need to finish up the border for this to be done. Hated working with the Very Velvet. Maybe I will do this again in a different colorway.

 

A Bit More Red

Not many color changes coming up. It'll mainly be working on the red panda's body. So updates will be boring but photos will show progress.

 

More Tailfeathers

I like working on the tailfeathers because they are so much brighter than the rest of the piece. It's almost time to work on the peahen, though.

 

Dragoning

The dragon is beginning to actually look like a dragon now. Lots of wing to go.
