The red stripes on the flag are done, but nothing in the white yet. Instructions say to do all the things around it now, so starting with the words.

 

Make Stuff May 2025 #28: A Little Bee by Lizzie Kate

This was one of the Lizzie Kate things with the fabric included but no threads. It's a small little square and I have lots of people who love bees.

 

Now to the Argyle

This brown pattern reminds me of argyle, with the diamonds. I think it's actually tile. But it's coming along a bit.

Back to the Witches

Food and extra photos of Starograd Gdanski from our last time at The Witches. We need to go back, even if it's far out of the way.

 

Entrance to Project Reise

Project Reise was a secret Nazi dream to build a giant underground city in southwestern Poland. This particular spot is where the project took the most shape. Looks completely harmless in the approach - a walk in the woods. And then you get to the entrance guard bunker. None of this was actually discovered until about 20 years after the war.

Diorama nearly in full in this photo. There is also a lot of red in the POLin museum. Not sure if it's symbolic or accidental.
