Waiting
I am currently waiting for an order from Nordic Needle to get the green I need for the shutters. I can't find any in all my boxes of threads! So I worked instead on more of the peaches of the house itself and on the street at the bottom.

Caved In
I was not strong enough to resist starting another rectangle before finishing the first, so it's started. This second one's going to be a lot more blue. I don't have more than an inch left on the first rectangle.

C1080 Part 1 - February 28th, 2010 - Carnaval
C1080 is a lubolo group that made it to the second round of Carnaval, when we saw them. Their whole performance was built around a movie studio lot, and it worked very well. Everything was integrated and the program flowed very well, even for us non-Spanish speakers. Here are some of the pictures from it. There are so many to show I've separated it into two posts.

A Done Heart
I finished Asya's heart this week and it's already on its way to Germany to be put into a quilt. I've already got a new one to start, but I need to finish a couple of other pressing things before beginning it.

Feelings, Again - Carnaval - February 28th, 2010
By tricks of our schedule and Teatro Verano's, we saw Feelings, a revista (dance revue) group, more than any other group. Here's a set of photos from their February 28th performance.

Yarn or Ribbon?
There is a little yarn shop about a block from the Manos del Uruguay outlet shop, and we stopped in there last week. I found this vicose yarn in this pretty pink color. I think I'm going to use it to make ribbon roses! The drape will let them be fluid and blowsy, I hope.
A Minor Milestone
I have finally finished all the cross stitches on part four (of twelve). Now I get to do the fun specialty stitches! I feel like I've reached a milestone, since I've been working on this for quite a while. I get to start working on something new.
