A few weeks ago, I started teaching temari to a Uruguayan friend. I started this during her beginning lesson, and she made her own. She's becoming a temari ace. Anyway, I finished mine for the big ornament thing I do at Christmas.

First Part Done
Here's a picture of the first part of the Sticklounge logo, Odds and Ends by Tam, all done. It's not as colorful as some other people's, but it's cheerful in its own way.

On to the Finish Line
I'm working on the last part of this now, and it's coming along pretty well. I'll have it finished in another week.

Journal for Betsy
She got her birthday present, so I get to show it off here! I made a journal cover for Andreas' mom. Originally, the fabric was to be a piece I'd handwoven, but the maid found it on the ironing board (with the beige square already on it) and decided it needed washing. When it came out of the washer, it wasn't suitable for the journal anymore, having frayed quite a bit and gotten too small. So, I came up with a plan B! The green is dupioni silk, and the square is a little square I stitched up a while back to make into an ornament. The journal cover directions are here.
The back.
Here's the inside. The butterfly fabric is also the inner lining, which can be reversed and become the outer shell.

Bottom Row Started
It's coming to an end now. The top row is halfway done and the bottom row is started... once I finish half of the bottom row, I'll be able to get the last parts.

The Other Secret Temari
Here is the second temari from Barb Suess' new EGA correspondence course. It's called Blue Heaven. Lots of stars and sparklies. You can tell on some of the stars that my marking was off a little bit.
