And Another...

Another in the series of eight pointed kiku temari.  The colors on this one came out very rich and Victorian.  It's also going to the winter bazaar for charity.

Two Fruit Done

I am now officially a third of the way done.  I like the way it looks, but it's sure taking a while.

Local Shop(s)

 Andreas was only allowed to take three pictures with my cell phone before the security guy stopped him, but these give you an idea of what Gemenii is like, at least.  The linens booth is the only one of its kind in the trims area - all the rest are embroidery, buttons, trims and yarns.  Nothing fancy display-wise, but a lot of nice stuff to be found.

Looks like it was time to edge downwards again - and get some more red done in the meantime.

Beginning to Take Shape

It is beginning to look like a real landscape.

Nibbles

Nibbles served with the wine we tasted at Chateau Vartely on an embassy-sponsored trip.  The wines were pretty good.

Backstitch and Beading

All the backstitch is done, and the beading started.  LOTS of beading to do, but should have this done by the end of the month!
