There are a few rooftops poking up now. It feels like I'm really making progress. How do I keep that feeling going?

Rhoding In A Column
More of the usual cross stitch on the bottom, but I've now started to put in Rhodes stitch columns in between the doors on top. The instructions didn't say what to do them in, which is why they'd not yet been done. I decided that Waterlilies Pearl was meant, so I went for it.

Starting On The Bottom
There's one more layer of motifs on this, then it's done. Discounting the background, I'm over halfway there. I like the look of this, but have no idea of what I am going to do with it.

In The Window
Starting to fill in the windows on this column now. Back to blocks of color, too. I'll get to the trees soon.
Year Of The Dragon Block
Last month we started an Asian nights round robin with small blocks. The first one for me to work on was Carol's. Since it's the year of the dragon and I couldn't find anything else I really liked, I embroidered a slithery dragon on the center of her block.

On To The Left
All the middle's motifed, and I'm left to work the somewhat dense one on the left. Then it's outline stitching all around and a finish.
