Acropolis Museum

The Acropolis museum lies at the base of the hill the Acropolis is on. There are ruins under the building itself, and they are visible through glass floors.

 

Jewelry From Prizren

We were in Prizren a few weeks ago, and I got these little bracelets and the daisy set. It's hard to find things about my name in jewelry.

 

Middled

The middle of the mandala is done outside of beading. Time to work on the inner and outer borders.

 

Baked Gift

Our landlady in Meteora gave us these beautiful little tarts to celebrate her father's saint's day. They tasted great, too.

The cross and radio tower are visible from everywhere in Skopje. This is from the Hunter's Lodge parking lot.

 

Hunter's Lodge, Skopje

We went to Hunter's Lodge with the pod on a warm late winter day. The food was good as always, but as usual, the stew was best. So were the morel mushrooms. We had a very good time.

 

Thessaloniki Ethnological Museum

 

The museum is small, but it's got a good story and is pretty packed with textiles. It's definitely worth a visit.
