I just now found your blog - pretty stitching you do. I'm wondering why you didn't just draw the outlines of this quilt block onto canvas first - you can count as you draw, and save yourself a bit of stress in stitch counting. I'll be interested to see what you do with this. I used to do Log Cabin in the 70's on needlepoint canvas to replicate fabrics in the patches - Love it!!
Thank you- as for your question, it was because I didn't think to do it and the instructions said to do it this way. I do know that the fillings are very number of threads dependent. Next time I'll try that. Thanks!
