End Of Year Report

I managed to do a lot and not do a lot simultaneously this year.  My crazy January shows that the most.  I finished two more of the 2011 ones and completed only 12 of my starts for this year.  On the other hand, my project book says there are 75 completed projects logged since the first of January.  It doesn't feel like that many!

So Very Close

Yay, I'm almost done!  This will make another finish on the crazy January list and a very blingy egg!

About Time!

After blogging for several years, Google finally paid me something for it!

Munich Medieval Market

This market, although small, had a lot of unique items - most of them reminiscent of the past.  Andreas found an archery booth; there were a few medieval costumers.  I found a stamp from a stamp booth.  There were a few bookbinders, too.  Overall, I think this market needs to be expanded!

One And A Bit

I've got the first of the two halves done.  Now it's off to the second!  I hope to have this done really soon.

Comets!

I found these cute little laser cut comets at an ornament stand in Munich.  I'm thinking I can use them in crazy quilting.

Clock Love Strikes Again

I love clocks, and so.... here are three pictures of the same clock on the New Town Hall.

My Student's Work - So Proud!

I started teaching Carolina and Ana in July of this year.  Unusual for Moldovans, neither had done any needlework since elementary school.  They both took to it like ducks to water, and a couple of weeks ago, Carolina brought some of her work over for my husband to photograph.  I'm so proud of her!  They're all gorgeous, and she's done so well with different patterns, making up her own designs, and picking great color combinations.  She's getting better than I am!

Little More Sparkly

The week I was in Munich, this didn't get much work.  I didn't bring it with me because beads are a pain when you're moving around.  I did get a little stitch time with it after we got back.  It's just a little more sparkly now.

Christmas Lights

At the Viktualenmarkt and then the main square at night.  The lights we so very pretty to look at, even if it was cold!

One And A Half Snowmen

Nearly halfway done!  Lots of progress in a week.

One Buy For Me

There was a bookbinder at the Schwabing Christmas market.  She made beautiful stuff, and I am a sucker for this kind of thing.  The name of her company, with her two partners, is Papier Macht Drei.

We bought a handmade box and a calendar for me for next year.  I love them!

Outside The Residenz

This is the big square between the Residenz and the Mercedes showroom.

Tone Done

I finished with this double kiku temari.  I think it looks pretty good.

Part One Done

I finished the first part of the October Mini Mystery by Laura Perin.  Time to get cracking on the rest!

Residenz Courtyard

While wandering one evening, we found the Residenz market in its courtyard.  It is small and cute and has a rotating nativity (the thing with the propellers).  We came back during the day for pictures.
