Last of the tasting area pics. At the far end of our eating area were these trees - they all have faces carved into them and are coated in thick layers of polyurethane.

And The Eats
First they started serving the wine, with the cold course already set out for us. Smoked meats, bread, cheese and raw veggies. They were serving all the different wines through this, almost rushing us through the wines.
Then they brought out the hot course- mashed potatoes, cabbage, and friptura. Dessert was mixed fruit.

The Secret Door Reveals...
Another secret panel door, like the one built in the 1980's to keep the wine safe, was built to entice tourists into the tasting room. Needless to say, we went. These are all pictures of their well appointed tasting area. They have various packages, with different numbers of wine and food. It's definitely worth it to get the higher end packages.
