Good Looking Marines!

 Our Marine Security Detachment is only five Marines and a Gunny here.  The Marine on the right in the top picture was visiting. All the rest are our detachment.  We were down one (not yet assigned) at the time of the Ball.  Aren't our Marines good looking in their dress blues?

Almost all the bouquet flowers are done.  It's just time to top off the circle.

Marine Ball Decor

 Here's what the tables looked like for the Marine Ball.  Each had the Marine, US, and Moldovan flags and every place had a program.

I managed to put in a little bit of work on the last of these little squares.  I think the colors look really good on black.

Martisor Ornament Done

Yay, I finally finished this temari!  And it's also given out as a gift already.  The Manzi-Fortisches, also known as Gunny and his family, left Moldova last Monday.  I finished ornaments for all five of them, so they have something to put on their tree if their freight doesn't get to Frankfurt before Christmas.  The whole mission misses them!  

This ornmanent is a six pointed star renzoku design with a simple obi..  It's the high contrast white and red that make it so striking.

Greening The Garden

I've added more green and some little flowers.
