Real German Food
On our second night in Munich, we stopped in at an (expensive) place downtown for dinner. It was between the Residenz and City Hall, and I've forgotten its name. I had pumpkin soup and sauerbraten, and Andreas had a pork dish with spaetzle. It was very good and filling, too. I even liked the bread dumpling!

LaPlacinte Again
The Friday before we left for Munich, we tried to go to Jack's Steakhouse, but it was reservations only. Then we tried to go to Pizza Caruso, but they had a private party renting the whole restaurant. So, the night before the bazaar, we ended up at LaPlacinte. Andreas had his usual compot, and we shared a placinte that was pretty good. Mamaligia and a chicken dinner rounded out the meal. It's like Denny's, but Moldovan and cheaper.
