Home State Finish

I finished Victoria Sampler's Texas Heart, and it's obvious that the heart was not designed by a Texan.  On the other hand, it's done, it's Texas-themed, and it'll make a nice little ornament.  It's also another finish from my crazy January Challenge.

Made Into a Diamond

I took a couple of those hardanger squares and made them into an ornament.  Not Christmas colors, but I don't like traditional Christmas colors!

Christmas Breakfast

I still have some plums that I froze from this summer, so I made a plum clafouti for Christmas breakfast.  I think it came out really pretty, and it even tasted good!

Diamonded

Most of the second part of this is done.  It's getting there...

Moldovan Tea Light Affinity

Thank you, Kate, for this lovely little tea light holder.  I've grown to believe that because they're relatively inexpensive and small, Moldovans love tea lights!  Luckily for me, I do too.

Just Middling

While I am ready for this side to be done, the stitching isn't.  I will try to work on it more .... after all, it did get on my Christmas rotation and stay there.

Real German Food

On our second night in Munich, we stopped in at an (expensive) place downtown for dinner.  It was between the Residenz and City Hall, and I've forgotten its name.  I had pumpkin soup and sauerbraten, and Andreas had a pork dish with spaetzle.  It was very good and filling, too.  I even liked the bread dumpling!
