Been working some on the second house. It's getting there, but I've not been able to stitch much lately. I feel like such a slacker. Even one of my coworkers asked me today why we're throwing so many parties to cause me to slack off on my stitching.
These pictures were taken last summer at the Moldovan National Museum. Andreas just now processed the pictures so I could show them to you, though. All pieces here have been hand embroidered or crocheted by Moldovans and are exquisite pieces of art.
I'm part of another round robin; it's a step by step one. In this, we each do a single step on each block. My assignment for this block was to put basic embellishments on the seams. I did that, and now it's off to someone else to do more work for the seams.
The daffodils started blooming a good ten days after the tulips. I don't know what was up with that. Anyway, the daffodils look beautiful, and you can see the tulips are already past their peak.
