Big Cactus

When I started working on this cactus, I thought it'd be ugly.  I was following the directions, and it was bulky and messy looking.  By the end, it straightened itself out and I now have a 3D cactus on this belt buckle.

Lofty Lunch

It was fish day at the cafeteria and Andreas hadn't brought in something to eat, so we went to the Loft.  Mackerel is just not our thing.  So, Andreas had the baked camembert and I had zeama, then I had the poached egg salad and he had a pizza.  Much, much better than fish!

Filling In A Wing

I'm filling in the bottom of the wing on the dark brown butterfly.  The piece is becoming much brighter.

Farewell Lunch

Doina, who worked in our section, emigrated to Canada last month and already had a new job lined up in the Montreal US consulate before she left.  We're so proud and happy for her!  In her last week, we had a farewell lunch at Grill House.  Andreas had a Greek salad and orange duck, and I had smokey steak, which comes in a smoke filled dome.  The food was wonderful and we all had a good time.

Making A Maze

I've decided to do a lot of the outer edges before filling things in because I'm afraid of messing up the count.  A counting mistake on this would be obvious.  At least now I have the whole width done and am going  to work down some now.

One Set Of Arbor

I've got the one side of the forest done.  Time to do the other side.  I feel so much pressure to get this done.

Small Sweet Heart Framed

MolDeco framed my little heart.  I think they did a great job, and I like the colors I picked, too.  At this rate, I'm going to have to have a wall of hearts.  The design is by Olga Maxden.
