New Stash!

I needed to get one kit from Nicola Jarvis, so I ordered three while I was at it.  One of them is the Apple Blossom kit I've already started.  These two I will probably start next month when I'll have a lot of time to myself.

All Hearted Up

Yay, another finish, and this one a few years old.  I got my Grand Coronne Fleuri done.  Now to make it into something.

I like the colors I've picked so far.  I'm hoping this stitchalong turns out to be a great stash reducer.

My misery row of queen stitches is done!  Now to make the rest go faster.

 Andreas found my new Marine Ball shoes.  They'll go with my TARDIS dress.  I love them, and they're actually comfortable!

Lesson Relearned

I have decided to abandon this piece.  Every time I work on it, it brings me anxiety instead of joy.  It's a Bucilla kit, and I knew it was low quality as soon as I opened it and saw a blunt needle - and denim fabric.  Really?  You're going to expect a beginner to use a blunt needle to get through denim?  Talk about frustration!  I also saw no stitch diagrams.  The grid of stitch placement and number of plies of thread is hard to read and confusing.  On top of that, the thread knots if you look at it.  It's obviously low quality, as it pills easily and just feels rough.  So, I'm ditching it.  I don't need to waste my time on something I'm not enjoying in the least.

About Half

Looks like I'm about halfway done with this.  It's getting to go quickly, and I have no idea what I'm going to do with it once it's done. I -think- it's been sitting started as an unfinished object for about ten years.  Shame on me for taking so long!
