Lufthansa Leads

Remember when you used  to get travel kits in economy and economy plus on long haul international flights?  That stopped what? Three years ago or so?  Lufthansa hasn't stopped it, at least in economy plus.  United DEFINITELY has in economy plus.  Boo United!  This is the travel kit I got from Lufthansa.  I'm thankful to them for treating me like a person instead of like cattle.

Three Quarters

Three quarters of the quatrefoil is done.  It's going to be downhill from here.

A Rare Ipsy

This is one of my rare ipsy shipments that has gotten through.  Even though there's only make up in these things, the shippers put ORM-D labels on them. ORM-D stands for "Other Restricted Materials - Domestic."  That label is why we cannot ship nail polish.  Or perfume.  Or any of a dozen other innocuous items.  This means I get one out of every three or four ipsy and Julep shipments.  It's disappointing on so many levels.  By the way, according to the rules this one shouldn't have made it.  The minute amount of hydrocarbons in the eye make up remover should have had this returned.  Because, you know, such a small amount has an infinitessimal chance of blowing up a plane.  By infinitessimal, I'm talking about less than one in a million.  By orders of magnitude.

Little Bits Of Progress

It's interesting seeing how all the colors swirl into a whole on this.  Sometimes it's hard to see the actual progress until I post the photo and actually -look- at it.

The Replacements

My malachite squares were damaged in the move last winter, so I finally got some replacements.  Same size, but I don't think the malachite's quite as pretty in these.

Round And Round We Go

I think this looks pretty good, and I'm already almost done.  One more crazy January start about to become a finish!

Densest Done

I'm now done with this being my daily piece, but before I dropped it as that, I got the densest part of the piece done.  There isn't all that much  to go, and I'll get it done soon.
