Edge And Middle

Got some of the right border done this time, along with more progress on the center gargoyle.  What's done actually looks pretty good, and I'm just past the halfway point.

Meal With A View

This was the view in July when we went out to dinner with Marialice at Cais do Quatro.  It's a restaurant on the Ilha that is right over the water on the bay side.  The view is of Luanda, lit up at night.  With poor visibility, it's pretty and hides a lot of problems. 

The food is really good, too.  I had cheese and walnut ravioli and some carpaccio.  The (overly expensive) little things they put on your table before you order were okay.  Bread, butter, olives, and tuna spread.  This is typical, and the little plate can cost you $10 each.  Definitely not worth it, but it's one way all the restaurants try to get more money out of you here.  Marialice and Andreas each had a steak, of different kinds, and like it.  Most beef here is imported from Brazil.  They had dessert.  I had cappucino, which was waaaay too bitter.

 

On Sale From Nordic Needle

I bought these on sale early last month.  They arrived!  Will definitely be on my list to start next starting season.

One Rectangle At A Time

Another rectangle outlined and to be filled.  It's getting done slowly, but doing it this way, bit by bit, means it's at least getting done.

Stuff To Use

An Ipsy made it through pouch!  It even had an aerosol in it - one I've been wanting to try.  Just as I was on the verge of cancelling out of frustration, too.

Blued A Bit More

I worked a bit more on the blue scales and also on that big wing.  The piece is so wide now I don't look like I'm making much progress.
