If you can, get a look at the saddles on these horses. They're far different from the ones used in the States - Western or English. They pil blankets on top of the horse's back, then put the saddle on, then more blankets. The saddle's fairly lightweight and adjusts in the middle to accommodate the horse 's spine. I'd hate to ride it without the blankets, though. More horses, more gaucho outfits in this go around.

I'd like to see a saddle. Doesn't appear to be very formed at all. And what's the deal with whacking the horse's tail off? Of course I've never done any thing but trail ride so know nothing about show ring or rodeo horse grooming. :)
I hadn't notice that they had cut the horses tails off. I wonder why they would do that? Poor horses, they need a long tail to keep flies off them!! Great photos, though. I love horses!
