Still On The Second

This is once again going slowly, but I do have progress. I am sooo close to the middle bird.  In fact, I did do some of the branch in green.  It's only that purple wreath to go.

I Love Bluebonnets

No, it's not April, and no, it's not Texas, but I have bluebonnets!  Our seeds sprouted and I have beautiful blue flowers in June.  Seeing them makes me happy.

June Flowers In My Garden

 Lots of flowers are blooming in my garden, and they're not only roses.  The bachelor buttons are doing well and the zinnias are just beginning to show color.  The petunias are spreading all over the place.

More Sidewalk

A little bit more wall, a little bit more sidewalk - this is how your house grows.

Another Fireside Sale

A few weeks ago Fireside Stitchery had an online sale of Vineyard silk.  You weren't able to choose the colors, but they did have several different colorways.  I'm very satisfied with what I got.

One Poppy Done

The first poppy's done and I hope to accelerate the rate at which I get this worked on.

Pretty Memento

We picked this up at MolDeco, pre-framed.  It is't too big, but it's a great little memory maker from Moldova.

Slooooow

The buildings are almost done.  I feel like this is going sooo slowly because of the over one and because it's more something that needs to be done instead of something I want to do.

Found The Ball

The ball's added in now.  Significant progress, don't you think?  Basically the left and bottom then beading to go.

Afghan For Alina

I went on Pinterest and gathered several butterfly baby afghans for Alina to choose from for her baby.  This is the one she chose and I made. It's called Butterfly Kisses and took a while because the butterflies are three dimensional.  Crochet stumpwork!  Anyway, I think it came out pretty nice and she loves it.

Making Some Stripes

The ornament is filling up.  I've got stripes now.  Soon this will be done.

Be Domed

Yay!  The dome is done, and that means part seven is done.  It went sooo much faster than parts five and six.  Part six's egdy flowers are almost halfway done too.

Crochet Goodies

Another Atelier 196 find ... this was the crochet grab bag.  I've never crocheted with AVAS before and am looking forward to starting it.

Building Down

Well, this is coming along much faster than it was.  Another building is done and the second stable started.  I feel like the end is in sight.

Already Far Away

It's done and already gifted!  I finished the Far Away sampler week before last and it's already found its new home.  It was a fairly quick stitch and I like the way it finished up.  There were a few beads to put on it, but I thought they were just clutter, so I didn't put them on.

Surprise Stash

Atelier 196 had a sale with free (worldwide) shipping.  I decided to take advantage of it and got three different packages.  This was my embroidery packet - nice linen and A Ver A Soie.  I'm very pleased with both their product and their service.

Working On The Second

Well, there's a bit more green progress as I work my way back across.  I should be getting to the bird soon.

W-ing

I tucked this into my purse when I went to a barbecue on Saturday and got a couple of more lengths of thread done.  It's back in the WIP cabinet, but a bit farther along.

All Trunked

The trunk is all stitched now and there's even more green.  I have to be coming out of the green phase soon....

A Nice Find

We found this piece at the art park.  I negotiated for it in Spanish!  Anyway, it's now time to get it framed at MolDeco.
