I got the top row of tulips on this band done this week and started the torches. It's going pretty well, I think, and more quickly than it had been when I put it away before Christmas. There are still seven or eight bands to go on this, though, so I won't be finishing it soon.

I love this sampler Meg its really charming. I like the background fabric it looks as if it's been hand dyed in a mottled fashion. Is that the case?I ask because different computer screens display colour in different ways and it looks very subtle on my screen.
Thank you! The fabric is hand dyed, yes. I bought it at my local needlework shop, and I believe it's from Picture This Plus.
