Use For Old CDs...

It turns out I've found a use for old CDs.  I used two of them to make this ornament.  You could pad the ornament if you want; I didn't.  I just laced the front over one CD and the backing fabric over the other, then sewed them together using the gold cording.  Voila!  A pretty ornament that's got some recycling, too.

I had same idea but I was using only one disk for the ornament. I like yours better!

Thank you! I think the two CD's allows you to hide the extra fabric better and make it more stable.
