One of Three Down

One of the vases on this band is done now, so two more to go. I think I'm not taking this with me to Europe. There's no great urgency to finish it, and I think I need a break from it, too. It'll be in my rotation to do until I go, and, in fact, will be what I'm working on today.

I love reading your blog entries and your contribution on the cyberstitchers lists too - you do such a variety of work and it's very inspiring and makes me want to branch out too.

I am fascinated by the amount of stitching you get done and also by your rotation which seems to be quite complex - how does it work?

I always think of blackwork as easy but this piece looks so complex. Its very beautiful and I have never seen anything else like it. Please can you tell me who it it by?

Thank you both! I'll do a post about the rotation this weekend. Tiramisu is an Embroiderers' Guild of America Group Correspondence Course designed and taught by Dakota Rogers. I agree, it's quite a challenge for blackwork, and I've done some things with the colors that make it look harder.
