Nearly There

I'm still working on the last bit of band eight. The way the separated soy luster shreds, it's amazing I have any hair left. I've got just a little bit more to go and then I'll never separate the stuff again.

This is very pretty. I blew up the picture to see the detail. Very nice! And I love the fabric you're stitching this on.

I love your colors. I signed up for this correspondence course, and never started stitching on it, because I couldn't pick colors, and I didn't feel confident about following the instructions, sepcifically where you had to jump (not follow strict backstitching.) I am still hoping to do it one day, even if I am too late to get it evaluated.

Thank you Deb. The fabric is "Meditation" from Picture This Plus. And Jane, mine won't be evaluated either, since I'm over a year past the due date so far. I keep stitching it because of the colors. I was lucky enough that a friend sent me the green and blue soysilks when I was about to start it, so I planned around them.

Meg,
So you wouldn't use the soy fibers again?
